War crimes in Lebanon.

Is there any doubt left that Israel contains some of the biggest war criminals in the world? See this.
Two days of Israeli bombings ... had killed 47 Lebanese and wounded 103 ...
And whose fault is that? Guess.
The United States vetoed an Arab-backed resolution that would have demanded Israel halt its military offensive in the Gaza Strip.
Oh, and, of course, little Stevie had to brown-nose his way in:
Harper, who is in London for a two-day visit, called Israel’s response to the kidnapping of three soldiers "measured" and "simply self-defence".
That man is an imbecilic embarrassment.

Of course, Hezbollah is just as bad as Israel:
The Israeli army said Hezbollah fired more than 100 rockets into northern Israeli towns, killing a middle-age man and a woman and wounding more than 35 civilians.
Although it should be noted that Hezbollah is not technically a country, but an independent terrorist organization. (I know they have their tentacles in the Lebanese and Syrian governments, but that's not the same as being the government.)

On the whole, though, the apologizing for Israel needs to stop. They're looking more and more like the swaggering little kid in the schoolyard who picks fights with the bigger kids, knowing all the while that their big brother is lurking just around the corner in case things get out of hand. If they keep this up, and the US keeps committing itself to wars it can't win (or really even fight), I'm very afraid that innocent Israelis will end up being exterminated. One Holocaust was really enough, thanks. At least the Europeans are still making sense:
The European Union criticized Israel for using what it called "disproportionate" force in its attacks and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said he was planning a peace mission.
As always, the British papers kick our papers' asses: here.
